The Musicians: a BitD Crew Playbook

Most folks in Doskvol make their lives sneaking about, trying to stay under the radar of the powers that be. You, though, you intend to make a scene and look good doing it.

The Musicians is a crew playbook for John Harper's Blades in the Dark created as part of the Unusual Suspects game jam about playing a group of musicians or similar performers as they attempt to make their fortune in the cut-throat world of Doskvol's entertainment industry. The Musicians crew book features several abilities that mix up the usual approach of a Blades crew to jobs, encouraging you to throw off any concerns of heat you might have to be loud and attention-grabbing instead. After all, if you're going to go down as legends in this town, you have to go big and spectacular.

The PDF in the download currently contains a fully playable crew playbook, but I'll hopefully be putting out an extended PDF in the coming year that will also include advice on running a Musician Crew, a set of job ideas similar to the core playbooks, and a random table of Bands in the Dark for when you need to come up with a rival band at the last minute.
